È di ieri mattina, 22 febbraio, l'annuncio ufficiale alla stampa della nascita di DMG / MORI SEIKI ITALIA, frutto di una partnership che "arriva da lontano", come dichiara il Managing Director Ugo Ghilardi, e che risale a tempi non sospetti di crisi economica ma si è via via concretizzata a partire dal 2009. Stiamo assistendo a una storica svolta nel settore della macchina utensile: due gruppi diversi, che hanno contribuito alla crescita e allo sviluppo economico del settore, cooperano per costituire una terza realtà, più forte, solida, autonoma, per perseguire a livello globale gli obiettivi di qualità e innovazione a vantaggio dei clienti. “La forza di questa nuova realtà, fortemente voluta dal Dr. Rüdiger Kapitza, Chairman of the Executive Board di Gildemeister e dal Dr Masahiko Mori, Presidente di Mori Seiki e Member of the Executive Board di Gildemeister, risiede soprattutto nella lungimiranza di una politica aziendale che pone il cliente al centro dei propri orientamenti strategici”, spiega Ghilardi. "La centralizzazione di alcune funzioni strategiche, quali Ricerca & Sviluppo, Acquisti, struttura di Sales & Services, Finance ci assicura maggiore competitività e ci permette di presidiare dinamicamente gli elementi necessari per proporre prodotti/servizi migliori, meno costosi, più disponibili”.

DMG / Mori Seiki Europe (60% di quote societarie DMG e 40% Mori Seiki), guidata dal CEO Mario Stroppa, ha sede a Dübendorf, in Svizzera, ed è la holding che controlla i diversi siti europei.

On February 22nd, the creation of DMG / MORI SEIKI ITALIA was officially announced. It is the result of a partnership “coming from far”, as the Managing Director Ugo Ghilardi said, and that dates back to times when the economic crisis was not a topic, then implemented step by step starting from 2009.
